We hope that anyone can enjoy Japanese Food anywhere in the world!
~Yuki`s Story~
It’s Yuki from Mrs.Miso Soup 😊
I own a Japanese restaurant in Kanagawa prefecture, which is next to Tokyo!
Today I would like to introduce myself!
I’m 34 years old and run a Japanese restaurant called Niku Kappo Hide.
@hide_niku
I live with my wife, our lovely daughter, and our newborn son.
When I was 27, I founded a restaurant called “Niku Kappo Hide.” At first, no customers came, so I just researched Japanese food, honed my skills and palate, and studied a lot so that my customers would be happy!
Now I am 34 years old, and through my experience as a Japanese food restaurant owner I started to think… “I want people all over the world to try Japanese food. Not just in Japan! But also in their country!” That feeling grew more and more. We know Japanese food, and we promise to deliver carefully selected Japanese food to everyone!
I would be very happy if I could connect with everyone all over the world, and feel Japan through our brand, Mrs.Miso soup and Japanese food culture.
Now, everyone, let’s embark on a “Japan trip starting with miso soup!!” 😋
~Jio's Story~
Hello everyone. My name is Jio. I am the Co-Founder of Mrs.miso soup.
I was born in the Philippines and raised in Japan. I am 28 years old, and work at a global company providing an e-commerce platform called Shopify as a Sales Representative.
Since my childhood I had many opportunities to compare Japanese culture and other countries' culture.
・Philippines is second home to me where I have many relatives.
・I have lived in San Francisco and had visited Hawaii and Guam.
・I lived in Singapore for 3 months and had visited other Southeast Asian countries like Malaysia, Indonesia, and Thailand.
・I studied in UK for year and had traveled to more than 12 other European countries.
All countries and cultures are wonderful, I believe. But as I started to do some comparisons, I started to appreciate and love Japan even more!
Also, during my travel experiences, I started to notice how much Japanese food, "Washoku” is loved by many people around the world.
And I started to think, I want to share the value of Japanese food to more people all over the world! That is why I started Mrs.Miso soup together with Yuki!!
Yuki and I first met at the restaurant where I had my first ever Part-time Job. Yuki was the owner of the restaurant "Niku Kappo Hide” I really learned a lot from him about what it is to work, and about the richness of Japanese food. Without my experience working at Yuki’s restaurant, I would not have been here. That is how important he is to me.
Now we are good partners sharing the same value!
We will do our best so that more people all over the world can enjoy Japanese food “Washoku”!!
Let's enjoy Wahoku all together!
